Maintenance supervisor
The following points are mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
• Technical knowledge: Windows, Word and Excel environment, programmable logic controllers, electronic control
• Languages spoken and written: French and English
• Experience: 3 years as a plant engineer or having supervised mechanics and / or electricians
Knowledge of SAP is an asset
Professional skills
• Implementation and development of the preventive maintenance system
• Creation of new equipment in maintenance systems
• Monitoring of maintenance system actions and indicator tables
• Purchase of maintenance parts and all equipment related to employees (PO-reception)
• Ensure at all times that production machinery is able to meet production objectives and in an efficient and safe manner
• Track costs and ways to respect the annual budget
• Autonomous, methodical, responsible, resourceful and punctual person;
• Attention to detail and good analytical and synthesis skills;
• Positive leadership
Personal aptitudes
• Provide corrective maintenance service during production hours to minimize downtime
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance in order to meet budgets and maintenance and production objectives
• Ensure that the tasks are carried out according to the work instructions and the stable procedures QS-9000 and ISO-9001
• Ensure that the preventive maintenance program is adequate, implemented and make all modifications to keep the system up to date
• Follow up on repairs to ensure the job is done well and that there is no recurrence
• Maintain a predictive maintenance system
• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure that they work in an efficient and orderly manner
• Ensure that maintenance personnel have the required training necessary to perform their duties.
• Ensure that maintenance personnel apply and respect occupational health and safety standards
• Apply and enforce HACCP and SQF procedures
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
